How to play and sources
  1. 1Read the order. For weight-based doses, work out the dose and apply any max or min. Then convert to mL.
  2. 2Pick the smallest syringe that holds the dose.
  3. 3Tap the vial to flip it. Drag the syringe up so the needle goes through the stopper.
  4. 4Pull the plunger to the right mark. Read at the top edge of the black stopper. Then verify.

Doses follow the NYC REMAC Unified Prehospital Treatment Protocols 2026-01 (effective Aug 1, 2026). A few questions use the 2024 REMAC Medication List and say so. REMAC sets doses, not products, so vial strengths shown are typical commercial concentrations. For practice only. Always use the current protocols and your medical control.
